Challenge
Three Southeast Michigan health systems merged to become Beaumont Health. The new organization, comprised of eight hospitals and more than 35,000 employees, began a collaborative effort to standardize processes and workflows, dissolve legacy boundaries and advance its mission to deliver compassionate, extraordinary care every day.
One of the most significant changes was the consolidation of 16 administrative locations into a newly purchased, centrally located facility. More than 2,500 Beaumont employees moved, bringing together shared services functions for maximum collaboration and operational efficiency.
