Verizon’s new Destination Store concept was the best-kept secret in tech retail of 2013. The under-construction storefront and a private invitation to media and local influencers teased the “future of tech.” The crowd was expecting an announcement. Instead — the curtain went up right before their eyes, unveiling a gleaming, 9,715-square-foot technology playground.
