VP, Culture & Talent, Rebecca Martin Recognized as MVP Honoree
St. Paul, Minn., June 6, 2019 — Beehive Strategic Communication has been named one of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for 2019. The agency was one of 60 businesses selected from more than 350 submissions and is one of 20 selected in the extra-small category. This is the fifth year Beehive has received this award. Rebecca Martin, VP, Culture & Talent, was recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as an MVP honoree in the extra-small category.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Workplaces list is the result of survey scores tabulated by research firm Quantum Workplace. The survey was distributed in late March to all Minnesota employees of participating companies.
“Foundational to a great workplace environment is great people,” said Rebecca Martin, Vice President of Culture and Talent. “We are intentional about recruiting, hiring and retaining people who are not only smart and talented professionals but who also match Beehive’s values.”
The Quantum Workplace online survey included questions about company culture, job satisfaction and accountability. The award winners are separated into different categories based on the number of Minnesota employees. Select companies will be included in the Aug. 2 Best Places to Work special publication and online.
Honorees are recognized for creating and maintaining engaging work environments, which include team-building activities and career-development opportunities as well as workplace amenities, such as onsite workout facilities.
Rebecca Martin also received a special MVP honoree recognition. The Business Journal recognized one individual in each company-size category for their efforts in creating an engaging workplace environment. Honorees were determined based on employee feedback from questions in the confidential employee survey used to identify the Best Places to Work winners.
“Rebecca is the heart and soul of Beehive,” said Ayme Zemke, SVP, Client Services. “She’s a thoughtful, positive leader who is always thinking about and activating ways for our team and culture to keep getting better.”
