St. Paul, Minn., October 7, 2025 — Beehive Strategic Communication and client GiveMN have been recognized in PR Daily’s 2025 Nonprofit Communications Awards, earning honors in the Fundraising Campaign category for their “Giving for Good: Give to the Max Day 2024” campaign.  

The Minnesota campaign cut through the noise of a polarized election year with powerful storytelling, community engagement and a clear call to generosity. The result: a record-breaking $37.1 million raised for 6,556 nonprofits and schools across the state. 

“Supporting GiveMN and Give to the Max Day is a dream collaboration, where communication strategy meets mission and charitable giving,” said Beehive CEO Lisa Hannum. “This recognition belongs to the thousands of donors and nonprofit organizations that contribute to strengthening Minnesota each year.”

This year’s awards honored outstanding accomplishments in categories such as fundraising campaigns, digital storytelling, crisis response, advocacy efforts, events, video and more. The winners represent the top communicators who are shaping the future of nonprofit outreach and engagement. 

“Give for Good/Give to the Max is more than a campaign: it’s a celebration of what we can achieve when we come together to invest in our communities and one another,” said GiveMN Executive Director and CEO Jenna Ray. “This honor is a testament to the spirit of generosity that makes Minnesota a great place to call home and the good work we do together all year long.”  

Give to the Max returns for a 17th year this fall. Early Giving for GTMD25 begins November 1 and runs through Give to the Max on Thursday, November 20. Learn more at givemn.org.
