Beehive PR announced today it has received the 2014 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award (PHWA), presented by the Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA). The award is given annually to one Minnesota business that demonstrates a commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees. The MPA evaluated nominees on five key areas that contribute to workplace satisfaction, including employee involvement, work-life balance, employee growth and development, health and safety and employee recognition. The selection process included completion of a workplace questionnaire, results of an employee survey and a site visit from MPA representatives. “We know a healthy, energized workplace produces measurable business results: recruiting and retaining top talent, low absenteeism, and innovation and productivity on behalf of our clients,” said Lisa Hannum, Beehive PR CEO. “We have intentionally invested time and resources in making Beehive a great place to work, and it is rewarding to have our commitment recognized by such a respected organization.” Beehive also received the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award in 2008.
