Key Job Responsibilities:

The Account Director will lead a portfolio of client business including accounts from our key industries: health care, medical technology, professional services, financial services and commercial real estate. Key job responsibilities:

  • Serve as go-to strategic business partner, day-to-day client contact and key relationship manager
  • Drive, manage and measure meaningful business results for internal and external client programs with a clear connection to business objectives
  • Develop differentiated, market-facing business strategies grounded in industry trends/movements, marketplace analysis and competitive insights 
  • Effectively manage projects, people, timelines and budgets; hold self and team accountable; effectively delegate work  
  • Earn client confidence through strategic counsel; inspire clients to see what’s possible through new ideas and fresh thinking; effectively navigate complex client organizations  
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to serve clients, build relationships and grow business organically; contribute to business development, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • 6 – 9 years of relevant professional experience; proven success in agency/consulting setting required
  • Proven track record of success in most/all these areas: media relations, social and digital media strategy, change management communication, workplace culture and employee experience, and account management
  • Proven ability to work successfully with C-level clients and at all levels in an organization
