Beehive Strategic Communication Account Coordinator Position

The account coordinator will support account leads on a focused client portfolio and play a key role in agency marketing and sales. The ideal candidate has completed relevant internships and has at least one year of public relations and strategic communication experience, preferably in an agency setting. They are a high-performer, strategic thinker and strong writer and editor, with emerging skills in media relations, social and digital media strategy, research and account/project management.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Supports account leads on PR, communication and marketing assignments, including: drafting meeting agendas, call recaps, bylines, news releases, FAQs, social media posts; conducting competitive and trend research; developing media lists and pitching media
  • Executes communication strategies that drive program outcomes and meaningful business results
  • Measures program/campaign results; develops highlights and insights aligned to client business objectives
  • Works to full potential and consistently delivers best work — on strategy, error free, on time and on budget; demonstrates high level of accountability
  • Drafts newsletter articles, blog posts, news releases, news briefs, social media content and bylines for agency
  • Supports marketing and sales team with CRM and HubSpot

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • 1+ year of professional experience; agency/consulting setting preferred
