AmazingWomenBeehive client Christopher & Banks knows Every Day, Women Do Amazing Things®. The company launched a yearlong, nationwide campaign to recognize and celebrate the contributions their customers, and the women who inspire them, make to their family, friends, communities and society. Phase one of the campaign launched in time for Mother’s Day. It urged Christopher & Banks employees and customers to share stories of the Amazing Women in their lives in a search of an Amazing caretaker. Employee Engagement Christopher & Banks employees shared the stories of the Amazing Women in their lives in awe-inspiring video testimonials. The video was shared at an employee meeting to help build employee enthusiasm. The testimonials also were shared on the company’s website to help inspire its customers to nominate other Amazing Women. Celebrating Customers, Family and Friends The Amazing Women contest was introduced in Christopher & Banks stores, on the company’s e-commerce site, on its Facebook page and through traditional media outreach. The contest aimed to publicly recognize women who do amazing things every day, and to give customers and potential new fans a reason to take a fresh look at Christopher & Banks. All Star Stories to Share The campaign knocked it out of the park, receiving more than 1,700 nominations from all over the country – sharing stories of endurance, perseverance, faith, hope and love. Michelle Johnson, a foster mother to more than 300 children in Springfield, Mo., was recognized as the first-ever Amazing Woman. She will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Christopher & Banks headquarters to meet LuAnn Via, president and CEO, and a day of pampering including a spa visit and day of shopping at Mall of America®. Michelle also received an invitation to be a Christopher & Banks/CJ Banks brand ambassador. The next campaign will honor teachers and launches at the end of August.
